Warning Lights & Electrical

A warning light is your vehicle’s way of telling you something needs attention. Arizona Auto Clinic provides diagnostic testing and electrical repair to identify the cause and explain what your vehicle needs.

What are you noticing?

Check Engine Light

A check engine light can be triggered by issues involving the engine, emissions system, or related sensors. We use diagnostic testing to investigate the warning and explain what repairs may be needed.

Battery or Charging Light

This warning doesn’t always mean the battery needs replacing. It can indicate a problem with the alternator, wiring, or another part of the charging system. We test these components to determine why the warning appeared.

ABS Warning Light

This light signals a problem with the anti-lock braking system, which helps prevent wheel lockup during braking. A wheel-speed sensor, wiring issue, or another component may be responsible. Diagnostic testing helps identify the cause.

Tire Pressure/ TPMS Light

This warning may appear when tire pressure is too low or the tire-pressure monitoring system has a fault. We check tire pressures and investigate possible leaks or sensor issues to determine what needs attention.

Starting Problems

Slow cranking, clicking, or a vehicle that won’t start can have different causes. The battery, starter, wiring, or connections may be involved. We test the starting system to identify the problem before recommending repairs.

Battery Drain & Electrical Issues

If your battery keeps dying or electrical features work inconsistently, replacing the battery may not resolve the cause. A charging problem, loose connection, or something drawing power while the vehicle is off may be involved. We investigate the issue and explain our findings.

Warning symbols and their meanings vary by vehicle. These descriptions explain possible causes and are for general information only; they do not diagnose your vehicle. We recommend scheduling an appointment so our technicians can inspect your vehicle and identify what needs attention.
